GMAT Focus Edition Practice Test & Exam Prep
Prepare for the GMAT Focus Edition, now called the GMAT Exam. Master Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights with adaptive practice and personalized AI coaching.
What is the GMAT Focus Edition and How is it Structured?
The GMAT Focus Edition, now officially called the GMAT Exam, is a computer-adaptive admissions test for MBA and other graduate business programs. The exam contains 64 questions across three 45-minute sections: 21 Quantitative Reasoning questions, 23 Verbal Reasoning questions, and 20 Data Insights questions. Candidates have 2 hours and 15 minutes of testing time, may choose their section order, and can review questions and change up to three answers per section.
Why Business School Candidates Struggle with the GMAT
The GMAT measures analytical reasoning rather than simple memorization. Candidates must solve quantitative problems without a calculator, evaluate complex arguments, comprehend demanding passages, and interpret tables, graphs, and multiple data sources under strict time limits. Because the exam adapts to performance, inconsistent pacing and small reasoning errors can quickly prevent candidates from reaching their target GMAT score.
